Very nice example of an Imperial German lion head sword with triple etched blade marked "P.O. & Co" on ricasso. Blade is bright with scattered blemishes and crisp etchings. Top of guard is marked "GESETZLION / GESCHUTZT". Heavily embellished hilt retains nice amounts of its original guiding. Shagreen-wrapped grip with strands of twisted wire is intact. No gemstones in eyes. Complete with black painted metal scabbard with 1 carry ring. Scabbard exhibits scattered blemishes including scuffs and scratches. CONDITION: NRA Good.
