Lot consists of: (A) German World War II Kriegsmarine dagger with an era original artificial Damascus blade and ivory grip. Blade does not exhibit any markings with no noticeable wear or damage. Brass pommel and cross guard exhibit a pleasing patina with dark areas in recesses. Trylon grip has moderate staining and age toning with 1 small chip toward the crossguard. Brass button is bent and counteracts the lock function. Brass wire wrapping is tight and undamaged. Brass scabbard retains minimal amounts of its gilt finish with dark patina in areas. CONDITION: Good. (B) German World War II Kriegsmarine dagger with double etched blade featuring naval and floral motifs and marked "(knight head) WKC". Blade is bright with crisp etchings and minimal blemishes. Brass pommel and cross guard exhibit a pleasing patina. Trylon grip exhibits handling wear and scattered light blemishes. Brass button is slightly pushed in and counteracts the lock function. Brass wire wrapping is tight and undamaged. A bullion portepee is affixed to the handle and exhibits light fraying in areas. Brass scabbard retains decent amounts of its gilt finish in areas with a moderate patina. CONDITION: Good.
