Pale bisque shoulder head with very distinctive portrait face marked on the front plate E DEPOSE B, made by Eugene Barrois. Empress Eugenie-type face with light multi-stroked eyebrows, cobalt enameled eyes, brown eyeliner, lightly painted upper and lower eyelashes, tinted cheeks, closed mouth with lip shading strokes, breastbone molding on shoulder plate, cork pate, lovely original mohair wig with long curls. Original sturdy kid body with gusseted joints, original paint lines on hands to simulate gloves. Original purple silk gown with velvet trim, underwear, stockings and leather boots. A stunning early and rare poupée!
