The edition is dedicated to Harold Davidson, noted Borein authority, for his scholarly research and authorship of the life and work of the artist. Limited to only twenty-five presentation editions this is a scarce and desirable piece for any Borein collector. Large quarto (12"X 15 1/2") bound in full green English calf leather covers with richly gilt fronts and backs. The spine is finished with gold ornamentation and raised bands; top edge full gilt both inside front and back covers finished with gold dentelles. Each volume is housed in a slipcase with handmade marbled paper with top and bottom and finger pulls in fine leather. The books, both editorial pages and etching proofs, are printed on 120-gram handmade paper – "Arches" brand from Rives, France. The etchings were prepared, and hand proofed by Patrick Merrill, master printer. David Weinstein, bookbinder, contributed his skills to the binding process and gold finishing.
