AGS CERTIFIED #11299. DSP. Rare and highly sought after C. 1940's Porcelain Sign for Frontier Gasoline showing detailed Horse & Rider graphic with iconic "Rarin' To Go" Slogan. CONDITION: Side one showing excellent color & gloss with moderate to heavy chipping in the field as well as areas of chipping in the outer field. Sign shows two cut marks along the lower edge, (Score 79). Side two also showing very good color & gloss throughout with heavier areas of inner & outer field chipping as well as some surface scratching. The outer edge of side two showing moderate chipping, (Score 75). Although the piece shows wear it displays very well with an excellent age & patina throughout.
