Manufactured in 1937. Mauser S/42 code with a 1937 over the chamber. Straw small parts. Two piece checkered wood grips. This is an all-original, all-matching numbers gun with one matching magazine. The spare magazine is number 2209n. Black military holster with white stitching, maker marked "FR&K VOEGELS / KOLN-DEUTZ / 1937". It has a waffenamt takedown stored in the pouch. It also comes with a wooden box with a red fitted interior. It comes with a set of capture papers dated October 8th, 1945, to a T/4 Benjamin Oorbeck. CONDITION: This gun is in superb condition, retaining virtually all of the original blue finish. It has just a couple of small spots of high edge wear. The original straw color is very strong with some loss to the trigger. Checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The holster shows some scuffing, but is very solid. The stitching is tight and serviceable.
