DSP. A clean and desirable double sided porcelain sign from Coca-Cola featuring the iconic company logo with a nicely painted Route 66 Drive-In graphic. CONDITION: Side 1 remains in exceptionally clean condition. The field of the sign, which originally came blank as a privilege panel, is chip free and has been professionally lettered with the Route 66 verbiage. The porcelain sign at the bottom is exceptional with only one hardly mentionable chip along the bottom edge. The outer edges of the white section show minor chipping and wear. The steel bracket and die-cut bottle at the top shows age appropriate wear and is all original (Score 95). Side 2 remains similarly clean. The field of the sign is largely blemish free with outstanding color and shine. The porcelain sign at the bottom is very clean with no mentionable damage. The outer edges of the white section of the sign show occasional chipping and wear. The steel bracket and die-cut bottle at the top show minor oxidation and surface rust (Score 95). A high condition and stunning example of this desirable piece of advertising from Coca-Cola.
