DSP. A desirable example of this C. 1930's die-cut double sided porcelain sign from Shell Gasoline featuring the iconic clam shell shape with wonderful colors. CONDITION: Side 1 retains good gloss and color, with a few light surface scratches. The outer edges show porcelain loss, the worst of which is in the bottom right corner. Five of the six mounting holes retain their original grommets, as well as, light wear and minor porcelain loss (Score 86). Side 2 retains nice gloss in the field, with occasional chipping and scratching. The outer edges show age appropriate wear and minor porcelain loss. The worst damage is on the bottom left side where bondo filler was added over the porcelain loss at some point in the past. The mounting holes show wear and minor porcelain loss as well (Score 84). A desirable and well displaying sign.

Condition: (SCORE 86, 84).
