SSP. Maker Marked "Tennessee Enamel Corporation. 1931." A large and impressive example of this single sided porcelain sign from Coca-Cola featuring the iconic script logo with nice color and porcelain shelving throughout. CONDITION: The field of this sign remains nice with a few areas of porcelain chipping that have been touched up. Most of this touch up is in the red section of the field, but is also in the black and white sections in a few isolated areas. The gloss on this sign is slightly dull, likely due to exposure to the sun. The outer field and edges also show a series of touched up porcelain chips as well, the worst of which is in the green outer border. This sign has a nice custom wood frame, which conceals the extreme outer edges of the sign. An always desirable and sought after example.
