Patented 1862 during the Civil War. Came with different heads and dresses, and was manufactured by several companies using Morrison's patent. Original box is marked "Autoperipatetikos," or "Walking Doll." Box is complete, but does have some creasing, staining and wear due to age. Dress original, but slightly soiled, and is in remarkable condition for the age. In working condition.
