SST. Maker Marked "Lee T & R Co. S-402." An exceptionally clean example of this vertical single sided tin sign from Lee Tires featuring outstanding gloss and color with nicely embossed lettering. CONDITION: The field of this sign is very nice with great gloss and color. The high points of the embossed lettering show a few minor areas of paint rubbing and loss. There is one section of mentionable paint loss directly above the first "E" in LEE." The outer embossed border shows a few areas of paint chipping on the face, and more on the sides, which is not visible from viewing the sign straight on. A very clean and likely new-old-stock example.
