Of standard configuration for the India Pattern. Round barrel with extensive proof marks. Lock with stamped "(Crown) / GR" British ordnance mark of crown over broad arrow and "TOWER" at the tail. Standard pattern 1793 furniture. Walnut stock and iron ramrod. Complete with old leather sling. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned, stock was cut and rejoined. Some markings are spurious. Wood shows some scattered cracks. Lock functions well and is in its original flintlock configuration, cock is a replacement.
