Approximately 3,000 made by Jacob Rupertus of Philadelphia circa 1860s. Blued 3" tapered 8-shot fluted barrel cluster chambered in .22 RF. Brass spur trigger frame marked "RUPERTUS PATENT JULY 19TH, 1864" in circle on each side. 2-piece dark walnut grips, each stamped with the matching serial number on the underside. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels have faded to an even brown patina. Frame is mellow. Grips have a few light marks but are otherwise fine. Fine mechanics.
