Manufactured circa 1860s, likely by Webley. This small pocket pistol features a pair of superposed barrels which are manually unlocked and rotated into firing position, each with their own German silver pin front sight. Spur trigger frame engraved with line bordered and silver plated in the period. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut. CONDITION: Fine. Barrels finish has largely faded to gunmetal gray patina. Frame retains nearly all of its period silver with some minor flaking. Traces of nitre blue present on hammer, lock, and trigger. Grips are fine, some minor marks present along with an area of white residue near the left base. Abraded bores. Fine mechanics.
