Approximately 1,500 produced circa 1866 to 1878. Pistol features blued superposed .32 RF chambered barrels which are manually turned to the firing position, each fitted with a German silver half moon front sight. Silver plated brass square butt frame with spur trigger and 2-piece smooth rosewood grips. CONDITION: Excellent for its age. Barrel assembly retains the vast majority of its bright factory blue with some mild thinning and wear. Frame likewise retains most of its mellow toned silver, the edges thinned to mellow patinaed brass. Grips are very fine with only light marks. Strong bores, some black powder abrasion present in the grooves. Fine mechanics. A very nice example.
