Approximately 2,000 made from 1868 to 1880. This potent self defense pistol features manually rotated superposed .41 RF chambered barrels with a central sliding dirk bayonet. Barrels bear 3rd type 1-line markings and are each affixed with their own German silver half moon front sight. Brass bird's head frame with spur trigger and 2-piece rosewood grips. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel finish has faded to a freckled gunmetal patina. Frame displays a mellow golden patina. Grips are fine. Poor, abraded bores. Fine mechanics.
