Round-to-octagonal barrel fit with a blade front sight with brass insert on a slight ramp, machine matted solid rib with turn-off scope bases, dovetailed fixed blade standing rear sight, and a dovetail blank ahead of fore sight base. Action flats with German nitro proofs, "BOW" and "1392.30", bottom of barrels with caliber designation, "1297g" "STL 2" and a partial steel designation, appears to have been "BOEHLER" before dovetailed forearm loop erased everything before "...HLER". Two part forearm in Mannlicher form with horn forearm cap, slightly schnabled, and sling loop. Checkered in a wave pattern about the Deely latch release. Scalloped back boxlock action with a buck on left side, and what appears to be a short horned ibex on right, accented by florals. Single Kersten lock. Double set triggers with florals on trigger guard. Walnut stock, lightly fiddled, with side panels. Pistol grip with point pattern checkering and horn pistol grip cap. Bavarian drop with fluted cheekpiece. Sling bow on stud in toe line, black line spacer with a Wegu rubber recoil pad. Mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 scope with #4 reticle. CONDITION: Barrel the majority of the reapplied blue finish, with some handling marks and silvering to sharp edges. Forearm with some handling marks and a well executed repair ahead of Deely latch at lip. Action is bright with crisp engraving. Stock is good with some handling marks and grain separation, most noticeable at left sidepanel and under fluted cheekpiece, one crack running from rear tang to right side of comb. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with strong rifling and some mild frosting.
