A nice original World War II sniper rifle manufactured by Nagoya with early "593" serial number. Standard length barrel chambered in 7.7mm with protected blade front sight and anti-aircraft ladder rear. Receiver has a ground chrysanthemum and is correctly manufacturer marked at the rear. Receiver fitted with an original black painted finished side mounted 4x scope numbered "12969" on the bell. Back side of mount numbered "4052". Complete with rubber eyepiece. Standard military stocks and mounts. Matching numbers observed on receiver, bolt, and nose cap. Safety knob is a replacement. A brown leather sling is also included. CONDITION: Good. Finishes have faded to an even dark brown. Stocks have scattered impressions and abrasions, as well as an area of filler at the heel. Good bore. Fine mechanics. Lower tang screw is missing. Scope is very good but could use a good lens cleaning.
