Shipped April 29, 1958 in a shipment of 2 guns of the same type to K&G Sporting Goods Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Current configuration is as confirmed by factory letter: blue with color case hardened frame, and checkered hard rubber grips featuring a Rampant Colt on either side (stocks are listed as "Not Listed" in letter). Accompanied by a factory 2nd generation black Colt box serial numbered to the gun as "17701" on the bottom in orange pencil. CONDITION: Excellent+ and near mint, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. Frame retains brilliant case colors. Grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright, possibly only factory test fired. Box is very good, with wear to corners and front edge of lid beginning to come loose.
