Early commercial that has a reapplied nickel finish. Barrel has been shortened and front sight added. No visible serial number under barrel, cylinder, or trigger guard. Several replaced screws, walnut grips are quite shy to metal. Has early 3-line patent dates on left side of frame. Cylinder pin is a replacement. Ejector rod head is later style replacement. CONDITION: Serial number on back strap very faint. Barrel and frame legends are legible. Grips have no finish, rounded at toe & heel. Cylinder indexes correctly with good half cock. Bore is strong but frosted.
