An attractive Jambiya fitted with a wootz Damascus blade and decorated with gold inlays. The blade measures approximately 18 - 1/2" with a gold inlaid cypher at center. This Jambiya has an iron hilt with a horse head pommel. The grips are bone and are checkered with a hexagon pattern. Measures 16 - 1/2 inches overall. Complete with its original scabbard, which is equally magnificent. There are scattered areas of rust throughout the hilt and scabbard, but the elegant decorations hide their visibility. Some light wear to the inlays. Grips are intact with nice toning. Quite an attractive weapon worthy of display. CONDITION: Good.
