Manufactured by Savage Arms Corporation of Utica, New York for A.H. Fox with single selective trigger and automatic safety. Barrel 1 is serial numbered to the gun and is marked "SPECIAL ALLOY - FORGED STEEL / SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION. UTICA. N.Y. U.S.A." and marked with caliber and chamber designation below that (12 gauge, 2 - 3/4" chambers). Barrel 2 is serial numbered 33029 and is marked "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" with Savage maker marking below that. It is not marked with caliber and chamber designation, although it is also 12 gauge with 2 - 3/4" chambers. Both sets of barrels' ejectors work correctly. Barrel set 1 is tight on face and barrel set 2 is slightly off face, although still serviceable. Frame and breech are tastefully engraved with factory B grade engraving. Walnut stock and forearm with attractive grain and added red rubber recoil pad made by The Sports Shop. Stock is near neutral with slight cast on for a left handed shooter. CONDITION: Excellent overall with barrels retaining a vast majority of their blue finish with scattered light handling marks. Action retains bright case colors with carry wear on the front half near breech. Stock and forearm have a few scattered heavy handling marks but are overall strong with no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Both bores are bright with minor freckling.
