Measures 6" closed, this knife is outfitted with stag grip scales that are held in place by 7 pins on each side. When opened the blade measures 5" and is marked "W (Crown) R / C.CONGREVE / PATENT / DIRK KNIVES". The blade forms into a spear point with large ricasso and groove on obverse so it can be easily removed with a finger. The blade exhibits a gray patina with scales exhibiting handling wear. Locking mechanism functions properly. CONDITION: Good.
