Shipped from the factory in November 1959 to Colt Regional Manager V.M. Teders for use as a sales sample. Accompanying documentation from Teders on Colt letterhead dated August 23, 1960, confirms this, as well as configuration. Features include 4 - 3/4" barrel chambered in .45 Colt with nickel finish and 2 piece factory hard rubber grips featuring a Rampant Colt on either side in an oval. CONDITION: Excellent, with nearly all of the original nickel finish remaining with some age-related clouding to the finish on grip frame and ejector rod housing, and light handling marks throughout. Grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Cylinder has a light turn line. Mechanically fine with all 4 hammer stops. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
