Other proofs include "P" near magazine release, "P" and Colt's VP proof on left side of trigger guard web, right side with "60". Right side of frame with US property marking, model designation, and serial number. Small parts comprise checkered spurred hammer, thick tab safety, checkered slide release, short checkered trigger, checkered magazine release, long A1 grip safety, arched knurled mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and fully checkered walnut grips. Fully blued magazine with "S" on lip denoting manufacture by Scoville. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory bluing with silvering to sharp edges and to fore of slide and dust cover consistent with holster wear. Appropriate distension about proofs from application of stamp. Some superficial handling marks and scratches throughout, some silvering, most noticeable at right side of slide and at straps. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling. This is an outstanding example of a very rare inspector.
