Manufactured circa 1911. Finished in attractive high polish blue with bright nitre blue small parts. Standard 4 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .38 ACP with half moon front sight and drift adjustable u-notch rear. The left side of the slide is correctly marked with a post-1908 2-line address and patent dates. Later style case hardened spur hammer. The 2-piece checkered hard rubber grips read "COLT" across the top, and feature central encircled rampant Colts. Accompanied by 2 total blued magazines, each marked "CAL. 38 / COLT" on the base. CONDITION: Fine. Pistol retains the vast majority of its brilliant factory blue with some thinning and wear, especially along the top of the slide and grip straps. Trigger and screws retains very strong and bright nitre blue. Hammer likewise displays strong and attractive case colors. Grips are fine with only mild nicks. Strong, frosted bore. Fine mechanics.
