SST. Excellent displaying C. 1940's Tin Sign for Chevron Supreme Gasoline showing "Winged V" graphic as well as three boys peering over a fence. Sign was originally used as a Taxi Cab Spare Tire Cover display marketed by Standard Oil Company. CONDITION: Sign is in excellent condition overall showing very good color & gloss with clean script and graphics. Sign shows light age spotting in the field as well as minor spots of scratch paint loss. Sign shows one scratch at the lower left as well as sone small nail hole at the upper right. Sign has been professionally framed in an excellent round frame in gold that displays the piece extremely well. An excellent piece of unique graphic advertising from Chevron.
