DST. Maker Marked Shonk Works, Chicago. Scarce C. 1920's Tin for United States Tires showing different Tire graphics on each side. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout with minor surface scratching in the field as well as some areas of light denting in the outer fields. Side one shows some minimal areas of light scratching near the outer edge but overall very clean, (Score 89). Side two also shows bright color & gloss throughout showing very minimal surface scratches in the field as well as some light denting. Side two shows some minimal edge wear, (Score 88). Sign is mounted in a new wooden frame which displays the piece very well. An excellent displaying example overall.
