Seldom encountered Chinese Order of the Double Dragon, Type 2, Second Class, Second Grade breast star. Founded by the Guangxu Emperor on February 7th, 1882 as an award for outstanding services to the throne and the Qing court. Silver with gilt center, engraved central coral, pin on back. Few traces of gold gilt remain at center. Missing smooth upper coral. Minor chips to turquoise enamel border. Pleasant patina throughout. CONDITION: Good.
