Lot consists of: (A) World War I (1930s issue) Bailey, Banks & Biddle Purple Heart. BB&B Purple Hearts are numbered on the lower left rim in the range of 1-60000, made of Bronze with Gold gilt. Enamel heart, & split wrap brooch. This example is numbered "6847" and is engraved to "Floyd F. Unwin" on reverse. Patina and tarnishing to ribbon. CONDITION: Good. (B) World War II Rex Products Purple Heart. Rex Products Purple Heart medals are numbered on the lower left side in the range of 100000-400000. They are made of Bronze with Gold Gilt with enamel, lacquer, & polished phenolic resin heart, & slot brooch. This example is numbered "103816" and engraved to "James A. Lindsley" on reverse. Patina throughout. CONDITION: Good. (C) WWII era Purple Heart numbered "91968" on the lower right side and engraved to Roberto Rivera-Claudio" on reverse. Patina with fraying to ribbon. CONDITION: Good.
