AGS CERTIFIED #11172. One Piece Etched Globe. C. 1920's A product of Bristolville Oil & Gas Company, Bristolville, Ohio. CONDITION: Globe displays very well overall showing a large majority of its original paint into the deeply etched lettering and graphic with visible areas of paint wear in the lettering as well as fading and touch up in the golden outer bands. The body portion of the globe is overall excellent showing no notable damage and only light surface wear. The base of the body shows a large repaired area where a large chip in the base has been nicely repaired with resin and painted a near matching white. Overall the globe displays excellent and is one of very few known examples.
