AGS CERTIFIED #11179. DSP. A rare and desirable example of this double sided porcelain sign from Marathon featuring the iconic runner graphic with a nice hammered steel hanging bracket. CONDITION: Side 1 retains nice color but shows some dulling and wear to the gloss. There are a few isolated porcelain chips in the field and areas of surface wear. The outer edges of the sign show light wear and minor porcelain loss as well- the worst of which is a chip on the bottom left edge (Score 85). Side 2 retains wonderful gloss with only a few small porcelain chips in the outer field. The outer edges and mounting holes show porcelain chipping as well, the worst of which is around the mounting holes and a chip on the bottom right edge of the sign (Score 88). The sign comes with correctly styled hammered steel bracket that displays wonderfully.
