AGS CERTIFIED #11202. DST. C. 1920's Tin Service Station Sign for Purol Motor Gasoline at one side & Tiolene Motor Oils at side two with both sides showing "Schooley's" hand painted in the upper field of each side. CONDITION: Side one shows very good color & gloss throughout with areas of surface scratching in the field as well as some moderate mounting hole wear. Side one shows average edge wear with a great patina type look, (Score 82). Side two also shows excellent color with clean script showing average areas of surface scratching as well as two small touch ups in the "TI" of Tiloene. Side two shows moderate mounting hole wear as well as some light areas of edge wear, (Score 81). Sign shows two small holes at the topside for hanging that are not distracting. A well displaying example overall that is very hard to come by.
