Grade I Citori made in Japan for Browning, circa 1982 per serial number. Barrels with vent rib, white plastic bead front sight and steel mid bead, machine matted. Proofs for Modified in over barrel and Improved Cylinder in under barrel. Left side with Browning information, right side with Special Steel, 28 gauge, 2 - 3/4" chamber, and 26" barrel length designations. Wide finger groove forearm with point pattern checkering and Deely latch release, matching numbers on interior iron and interior forearm. Boxlock action engraved in typical grade I engraving. Classic gold washed trigger protected by a trigger guard with golden buck mark, short tang that runs to a square knob pistol grip. Non-automatic safety, safety tab with "S" inlaid ahead of slide, and horizontal movement for barrel selection. Tightly grained stock with fiddle backing, checkered in point pattern about the wrist, with mullered borders. Stock finished with a Pachmayr white line spacer. CONDITION: Very good throughout, with virtually all of the blue remaining throughout with some minor handling marks, some silvering, and superficial scratches. Wood excellent with some handling marks from the field, trigger silvering at blade. Mechanically fine, bores very good with some minor firing residue. Ejectors are strong and in time.
