According to "The Rifleman's Rifle" only 904 varmint rifles were manufactured in .220 Swift, this example was built circa 1961. Blued medium heavy profile Winchester proof steel barrel without iron sight provision. Barrel and receiver drilled and tapped, a Unertl 12X scope with thread on caps is currently installed. Standard matte finished receiver. 1-piece checkered Monte Carlo stock and checkered plastic butt plate. Complete with leather sling. CONDITION: Very good overall. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained with only light high edge wear, as well as some thinning on the bolt handle. Stock has some scattered field impressions but is otherwise fine. Very fine bright bore with sharp rifling. Fine mechanics. Scope is very good. Optics are still fairly clear.
