Dovetail lump barrels with bead front sight on solid concave rib engraved with Alexander Henry information at rear "ALEXr HENRY EDINBURGH AND LONDON / MAKER TO THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESS' THE PRINCE OF WALES AND DUKE OF EDINBURGH", with doll's head rib extension, engraved with fine acanthus scroll and with stiff leaf engraving at breeches. Faux chain Damascus finish, barrel flats are marked with British view and proof marks, "12M / 10B", serial number, "A.H." for Alexander Henry, "NOT FOR BALL" and "CHOKE" on tubes. Action flats with serial number, view proofs, and "A.H" for Alexander Henry. Recoil shields with nicely filed fences, fish form hammers, and double triggers protected by a flat bottom trigger guard, tang with serial number, and engraved with scroll en suite. Densely grained stock, possibly a restock as wood does not match forearm, with a Prince of Wales grip, checkered in point-and-wave pattern about the wrist, lightly fiddled, brass oval on toe line, and with checkered butt. CONDITION: Very good, barrels with the vast majority of the brown Damascus finish, with some superficial scratches, silvering at muzzles and breech, and some thinning on sides of barrels flanking Alexander Henry information. Forearm excellent with some handling marks and indentations. Locks with case colors, approximately 15-20%, in protected areas, with some lacquer applied on locks. Stocks very good with some superficial handling marks, sanded and revarnished, with checkering recut. Mechanically fine, bores excellent, smooth, with some minor frosting towards the muzzle.
