Manufactured 1906. Nitro proofed, automatic ejectors, and matching numbers. All proper proof and Elephant trade marks. Features fine English scroll engraving on case color frame, trigger guard, and lever. Checkered walnut round knob stock with horn butt plate, splinter forearm with horn tip, blued barrels. CONDITION. Excellent. Case colors have silvered out. Engraving is crisp. 85% blue on barrels with some thinning and muzzle wear. Barrel address legend is sharp. The stocks are excellent, sharp checkering with just some nominal impressions. Lock up is tight. Bores are bright. Both strikers engage. A really sharp early nitro proofed double from one of the best makers.
