Factory letter states this Grade 2 Flues Model hammerless 12 gauge was shipped in May of 1912 with 30" barrels and full chokes. The present barrels measure 28"; a typo? They mention they have no records and may have been signed out to a sales rep. Gun features a case color and lightly engraved box lock, double triggers, pistol grip checkered walnut stock with black grip cap and Ithaca black gutta percha butt plate. Matching splinter forearm with ebony inset. All matching numbers. CONDITION. Excellent. Frame retains 30-40% color on sides. Barrels retain 95% blue with few handling marks and light muzzle wear. Bores are bright. Wood is superb with light handling. Lock up is tight. Strikers engage.
