The Woodmaster was introduced in 1936 as an update on the Model 8. It is a semi automatic rifle with distinctive barrel sleeve, blue finish, sporting sights, plain pistol grip walnut stock with Remington metal butt plate and matching forearm. Internal magazine. CONDITION. Excellent. Metal retains 95% blue with some handling marks and a few scratches on base of magazine housing. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with minor impressions and a few scars. All barrel and frame legends are sharp. Bore is bright. Very nice example.
