This commemorative was produced in 1964 to celebrate 150 years of the Colt company. It is based on the standard second generation Single Action Army, specially engraved non-fluted cylinder, nickel plated trigger guard and backstrap, blued frame, barrel, and housing, nickel accents, and wood grips with silver Colt medallions. The interior of the case is maroon velvet lined with Colonel Samuel Colt portrait medallion, wooden ammunition block holding 12 .45 Colt cartridges, and "The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt" by R.L. Wilson on the interior of lid. CONDITION: Very Good.
