A wonderful ceramic pair of a photographer and a woman with child. Both figures are marked and dated on the base "John Rogers New York, PAT Oct 15th 1878." (A) Photographer figure, approximately 18 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide at the base. Condition: Two small chips to the back of his coat and a minor flake to the corner of the draped sheath. (B) Woman with child sitting upon carved pedestal, 17" tall x 8 1/2" wide. Condition: Very good condition.
