Cold War Russian major general land forces uniform including double-breasted tunic, trousers, shirt, boots, and visor hat. The double-breasted dress tunic is olive drab cloth with red piping around the collar, shoulders, and cuffs. The red piped shoulder boards are silk brocade with gold bullion star. The buttons display the State Emblem of the USSR. The tunic is lined with fine silk with no visible maker mark. The ribbons are led by the Order of the Red Banner, The Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and the Order of the Red Star. These high awards are followed by an assortment of service ribbons. The trousers are made of the same material and are the same shade of olive drab as the tunic. The trousers have 2 red stripes that extend the length of the legs as are appropriate for the general rank. The hat is made of the same material as the tunic and trousers. Interior has a maker's label and is dated 1971. The tunic shows light blemishes, and the liner has minor frays from service use. Shirt is clean. Trousers display light stains and wear. Hat has very minor blemishes throughout. Boots are clean and maintain their form, marked "Derby" on the inside. CONDITION: Good.
