The pistols feature octagon screw barrels engraved "DODSON - LOUTH" on top flats. Stiffleaf engraving around muzzles and small front sights. Scalloped engraved paktong actions with engraved hammers on right sides, folding triggers. Checkered walnut bag grips with silver oval wrist escutcheons. Housed in a mahogany case with brass corner protectors and a round escutcheon on top and around keyhole. partitioned interior with green wool lining and a label for Edward Dodson. Accessories include a silver-plated flask, single cavity mold marked "26", ramrod, screwdriver, a tin of Eley's "Superior Sporting Percussion Caps", a nipple wrench and an oiler. CONDITION: Barrels retain most of their re-browned finish, markings very good. Actions retain a pleasing patina and show some minor denting and marks from use. Actions function properly. Case exterior shows some scratches and staining. Interior likely re-lined and shows some light wear. Accessories good, flask has some minor denting. Some losses to percussion cap tin label. No key.
