Manufactured circa 1880s with 7" barrel chambered in .44 caliber with blade front sight and "u" notch rear sight. Mounted with 2 piece ivory grips. Factory engraved in near full coverage with floral and vine scroll on a punchdot with Mexican Eagle on left side plate with snake in its mouth in its own vignette. Desirable scooped cylinder flutes. CONDITION: Excellent, with a majority of the period nickel plating remaining with scattered light handling marks and nickel lifting near butt and muzzle to reveal a brown patina. Grips are undersized, but show no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with visible rifling.
