Circa 1984. A Belgium custom-made game gun with blacked 30” chopper lump barrels. Barrels with ejectors and 3” chambers. Barrels are fit with machined tapered ribs and round brass front bead sights. The number 2 barrel is marked in gold on rib at breech. Barrels read “AUG. LEBEAU-COURALLY A LIEGE” on right and “W.L. MOORE & CO WESTLAKE VLG CA” on left. Bottom ribs stamped with serial number. Barrel flats are marked with Belgium nitro proof, "1Kg855", "12-76", and "AUG. LEBEAU, FABI A LIEGE". The coin finished side lock action is built with a hidden 3rd fastener, disk set strikers, gold cocking indicators, nitre blued double triggers (front articulated), floral scroll engraved and checkered top lever, and engraved and checkered safety slide. Action is handsomely engraved with scrolls and flower bouquets. Fences are chisel engraved with leaves and stippling. Gun is non-auto safe and “S” for safe is in gold. Triggers are protected by a floral scroll engraved coin finished trigger guard, which extends to a long bottom strap with serial number. The dark honey colored walnut stock has been built with an English straight hand fine checkered grip, drop points, and finished by a brown rubber recoil pad. Splinter forend with matched checkering has a checkered Anson styled push button release, engraved escutcheon, and engraved exterior iron metal. Internal iron metal is case hardened with serial number stamped. Gun and barrels live in canvas case with black and gold "AUG. LEBEAU COURALLY" case label. CONDITION: Good. Barrels with lots of remaining black color with some areas showing signs of light corrosion. Bores are very good and bright. Action, triggers and ejectors are very good. Some areas with light bits of corrosion. Stock and forend both very good with some areas showing evidence of light corrosion to metal parts. Case is very good with slight signs of use and storage.
