US issue six shot double action issued to troops during the Banana Wars. Standard two line barrel address with RAC (Renaldo Carr) inspector stamp at base. His inspector stamp is also found on back of cylinder and the left side of frame. Butt is stamped US ARMY MODEL 1901 with serial number and lanyard. Matching assembly number 6458. High polish blue factory finish with niter blue small parts. Standard fixed sight with smooth two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine. At least 50% bright blue with balance drifting gray from holster wear with some scattered age freckling. Action operates correctly. Bore is sharp with minor residue. Grips very good with hairline crack on left panel.
