German World War II Luftwaffe aircrew gravity knife with a "SMF SOLINGEN ROSTFREI" marked stainless steel blade with bright finish and scattered marks and scratches. Nickel fittings have light scattered marks throughout with bright finish. Blade release functions properly, spring is original to the knife, and the serial number of "502" is present on both the lever and spring. Walnut grip panels are properly pinned and exhibit scattered light dings and scratches. Steel spike is marked with a "Luftamt5". Post-war lanyard. CONDITION: Good.
