Lot consists of: (A) Third Reich enlisted RAD Hewer with a "GES. GESCH / ED WUSTHOF SOLINGEN" marked blade. Light gray patina with scattered light blemishes throughout. Motto on blade is nicely executed. Nickel-plated aluminum fittings exhibit a fair patina with scattered blemishes, and oxidation, with areas of original finish visible. Stag grip scales remain intact and tight. Brown painted scabbard is missing some of its paint with chocolate patina in bare areas. Mounts exhibit a matching patina to mounts with wear and retain all screws. 1 screw is slightly bent. CONDITION: Good. (B) Third Reich TENO Subordinate Hewer with nickel plated steel blade marked "GES. GESCH / ORIGINAL / EICKHORN SOLINGEN". The blade exhibits staining and oxidation over most of the surface. Leather washer present. The crossguard, hilt, and pommel, are nickel plated zinc and exhibit matching patina to the blade. White trylon grip scales are intact with light wear and light honey patina. Black painted steel scabbard retains most of its factory black paint but exhibits a chocolate patina due to exposure. Nickel plated steel drag and throat, exhibit wear and a chocolate patina. The throat is numbered “9114”. CONDITION: Good.
