Blued Krupp steel barrels marked on the top "FRANNZ KETTNER / KOLN - SUHL" with silver bead front sight and 2-leaf flip up rear sights. Finely scroll and floral engraved case hardened side plates and frame. Double triggers, forward rifle trigger is set. Dark horn trigger guard. Checkered walnut splinter forend with horn tip. Walnut stock features a checkered Prince of Wales grip with diamond cross section, black diamond inlays, double line cheek piece, sling swivels, and a modern rubber KICK-EEZ recoil bad. Gun is housed in a attractive brown leather wrapped hardwood case with cleaning rod and 9 rounds of RWS 8x57mm JR ammunition. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain the vast majority of their fading blue. Strong case colors retained on the right side of the action and other protected areas, the balance fading to a soft silvery patina. Wood has some scattered hunting marks and wear but no major sign of distress. Mirror bores. Crisp mechanics. Case is very good and displays well.
