Luke Volkmann is a bespoke maker of 1911 platform istols, and builds his pistols in-house, one at a time, totally by himself. His pistols are top quality, can be completely customized by the customer, and the wait to get them is just shy of a year. This example is two toned, with a blued slide and case colored frame, and fit with a gold bead front sight and square notch Battlehook rear sight. Slide has Volkmann logo on right side and "Volkmann Precision" on left. Frame with Volkmann information and serial number. Ambidextrous safeties, lightened 3 hole aluminum trigger, burl walnut grips with Volkmann escutcheons, beavertail grip safety with speed bump, and checkered front and backstraps. In a Volkmann branded Bulldog soft case with Volkmann paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent, NOS or equivalent, with only extremely minor marks from handling, probably shop wear. Grips are excellent with fantastic figure. Mechanically fine, bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling. Accessories are excellent.
